  • jamuary 2026 // #08 // sound collage ableton

    Today I created a sound collage in ableton using old loops and GRM Tools Atelier patches. I morphed and crossfaded in real time with the m4l device Chiastic Slide on my Push 3. Chiastic Slide is an incredible device—simple yet absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend it and a huge thank you to the developer, Zack Steinkamp.

    Since a video showing only a few channels in Ableton is boring, I added visuals to the track using VideoSync 2.

  • New album released: hybrid_undefined

    Today, after three years, I released a new album on Bandcamp. It’s called “hybrid_undefined” and contains a selection of pieces I’ve created over the past two years. They’re recordings of patches I made on my analog modular system and then edited in Ableton. For most of the pieces, I use the Benjolin from Epoch Modular, originally developed by Rob Hordijk. Serge’s modules also play a central role.

    experiments with field recordings in arturia pigments. I won this software synth in a competition and unfortunately I use it far too rarely. A very complex and extremely versatile synth with an excellent user interface.
