Today, something more “tangible” – a Eurorack jam where two oscillators are sent through the MI Ripples into the Serge Wavemultiplier. The Wavemultiplier’s outputs are connected to its inputs, creating a feedback loop. I love the unpredictability and sonic surprises that arise with patches like this.

jamuary 2026 // #04 // benjolin_01
For today’s jam session, I used the Benjolin (developed by the sadly deceased Rob Hordijk) in the Epoch Modular version.
It’s a feedback loop where the two pulse and triangle outputs go into a matrix mixer, which then controls the two oscillators, the filter, and the loop offset.
It is one of my oldest modules, yet one that always surprises me, never gets boring, and always wants to be explored anew.
Patches like these are always a search for the hidden magic sounds in between.
Headphones recommended! No additional effects.

jamuary 2026 // #03 // moog dfam & spectravox
My jam session today with the moog dfam and moog spectravox. I haven’t had much time to explore the spectravox yet, but I think it has a lot of potential for creating unusual and interesting sounds. Not visible in the video is the makenoise 0-ctrl, which I’m using to additionally sequence the two Moogs.
Headphones recommended! No additional effects.

jamuary 2026 // #02 // doepfer dark energy & dark time
A jam session with my #doepfer dark energy and its sequencer dark time. The jam is unedited. The only sound source is the doepfer dark energy – no effects. The dark energy was my first analog synthesizer and my entry into the modular universe about 15 years ago. I didn’t keep it just out of nostalgia, though; I think it’s still an exceptionally versatile and extremely good-sounding synth in its class.
