about

* 1975 in Vienna

My first wish for a synthesizer was – influenced by the music of the 80s – to get a Yamaha DX7 when I was 12. However, this wish remained unfulfilled for financial reasons.

After a serious illness in my teens and my early confrontation with death, I only returned to my childhood dream after many, often difficult, detours.

In 2008 I bought a Korg R3, but it soon had to make way for the first modules of my Eurorack module. The tactile cable plugging and experimental sound research were more in keeping with my nature. Since then I have been intensively involved with analog and digital sound synthesis. Over the years I also discovered my passion for field recordings, no-input mixing, feedback patches, Max/MSP and the visualization of my sounds.

I have also always been interested in photography and, more recently, in programming in JavaScript with p5.js.

Member of ZeM – Zentrum für elektronische Musik e.V. since 2020.

For health reasons, I lead a secluded life and am currently unable to perform live. In any case, I welcome feedback, criticism and collaborations.
